Alaffia is a clean, plant-based beauty and self-care brand with all its ingredients sourced from Ghana, Africa. They have a wide range of products for face, body, and hair, with their very own kids line with raw shea butter and coconut as their main ingredients. Alaffia serves natural, beauty-conscious consumers who care about the ingredients that go into their bodies as well as the effects they may have on the environment and the world at large.

An amazing aspect of the brand is Alaffia’s Foundation. Their social mission is to empower African communities through the advancement of Fair Trade, education, sustainable living, and gender equality.
In 2006, the Alaffia's Foundation started their Maternal Health Project following the World Health Organization’s recommendations for reducing maternal death rates. They work with the Togolese Health Clinic System to fund full, pre-and postnatal care (including special and urgent needs) while also providing training on women’s health issues, including nutrition, preventing female genital mutilation and more. Since 2006, they have funded 5,597 births.
The foundation has also provided bicycles to make it easier for women to attend school, school supplies and built over 16 schools. Planted over 99,964 trees and donated over 30,000 eyeglasses for the visually impaired.
